About candidate

About you
I am a registered nurse back in the Philippines and in the United Kingdom, I am currently working in a private hospital in central London. I have been practicing my profession for 7 years and counting, all in a clinical setting. My expertise are in a surgical unit pre and post-op recovery, stroke rehabilitation and outpatients department. I may not have the experience in telehealth nursing yet but I am confident given my clinical setting experience, I can provide, contribute and perform well in this field.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am looking for a more work-life balanced type of nursing role with a more competitive salary offer that could keep up with the increasing demands of the society's expenses. In addition, I would want to widen my horizon by learning and enhancing my skills by leaning into a much different setting (digital) compared to the traditional on-site face to face setting of providing care. I am eager and excited to work with people from all over the world, collaborating and working together for patients best interest.
What you are interested in working with us?
I am very interested in this new job role/post as I would want to challenge myself and gain experience in the world of digital nursing. I strongly believe that I have the desired capability and requirements needed for this job. I am willing to learn and engage myself into this new world of nursing, prioritising my patients' best interest through providing safety and quality of care digitally.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
I would say my most challenging experience was when I was a few months old from my position as a registered nurse in the UK, I was given the nurse in charge position in the ward (Stroke Rehabilitation Unit) I was working at the time. I was still adapting with the environment and with the people I was working with, not to mention these people had somehow different mindset in terms of leading the team or who should be leading the team. This happened during the time when there are severe nursing staff shortages and there was a n initial announcement of a nationwide lockdown due to COVID 19 pandemic. It was not easy for me during those times having to deal with personal struggles, the pandemic and colleagues judgement. I was not as confident of myself leading a team at that time but my manager trusted me, encouraged me and eventually made me realised that I could do it if I just trust my managerial and decision-making skills. I was able to prove to myself and my colleagues how I can also be capable as others.

This past experience may not reflect on my role as nurse but more of as a nurse with managerial skills which I am aiming to achieve and enhance in the digital world.
