What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of the most challenging experiences I faced was during a major product launch at my current company. We were launching a new service that was critical to our customers in another continent, and it had a tight timeline. We encountered unexpected technical difficulties that delayed our testing phase, and it became clear we wouldn’t meet the original deadline. I immediately organised a cross-functional meeting with the engineering, QA, and product teams to assess the situation and identify possible solutions. We prioritised the most critical issues and redefined our timeline to ensure we could deliver the feature with high quality, even if it meant a slightly delayed release. I also communicated frequently with our customers to manage their expectations and ensure they were informed throughout the process. As a result of the adjustments we made and the team’s collaboration, we successfully launched the feature within the revised timeline, and customer feedback was very positive. The process also led to the implementation of new strategies to prevent similar delays in future projects. It taught me the importance of proactive communication and how to lead a team through uncertainty.

Using tools such as SQL, Python, Excel and tableau, I can clean, manipulate, and analyse data efficiently, delivering actionable reports that support key decision-making processes. Additionally, I have extensive experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau and Power BI, where I create interactive dashboards that enable stakeholders to easily interpret data and track performance.

One of my proudest achievements was leading a project where we created multiple insightful dashboards for the 2024 Paris Olympics, where this allowed us to analyse customer behaviour, which helped the marketing team optimise their targeting strategy, resulting in a percentage increase in viewership rates. Additionally, we were able to identify events that were having issues on the platform which helped us keep KPI trends below the threshold. I thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy the challenge of transforming raw data into clear, compelling insights that have a real impact on business outcomes.
