About candidate

About you
I'm currently working as a Sports Analyst at HUDL, where I specialize in breaking down game footage and performance data to support athletes and coaches with tactical insights. I come from a strong athletic background myself—I’ve trained and competed as a professional Judo athlete under the Sports Authority of India, earning a silver medal in the sub-junior nationals. My firsthand experience in competitive sports gives me a unique edge when it comes to understanding the mindset of athletes and the nuances of performance analysis. I'm passionate about using data and video to create strategies that actually make a difference on the field—or in my case, on the mat.
What are you looking for in a new role?
During my time at HUDL, I've developed strong expertise in tagging and analyzing multiple sports, including American football, volleyball, basketball, and ice hockey. While I greatly enjoy contributing to athlete and team performance through these skills, I'm looking for a new role that allows me to further broaden my impact—whether it's by tackling more complex analytical challenges, working with new technologies, or collaborating closely with coaching staff in varied environments. I'm excited to find opportunities where my multi-sport analytical background can help teams achieve even greater success and where I can continue to develop as a well-rounded sports analyst.
What you are interested in working with us?
I'm interested in working with your organization because your commitment to innovation and excellence in sports analytics really stands out to me. I’ve followed your work in elevating performance analysis across diverse sports, which aligns perfectly with my background in tagging and analyzing games like American football, volleyball, basketball, and ice hockey. I’m impressed by the culture of collaboration and continuous learning here, and I want to be part of a team that values both technical expertise and genuine passion for helping athletes and coaches succeed. This is the kind of environment where I believe I can make a meaningful contribution, while also continuing to grow and take on new challenges in the evolving world of sports analytics.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of my most challenging experiences was tagging games that were recorded in very low quality, sometimes with unclear video and audio, while working under tight deadlines. There were occasions when I needed to tag these matches at 2x speed and still maintain a 95% accuracy rate. Despite these difficulties, I made sure every player’s stats were accurate and reliable for the coaching staff. This experience really sharpened my ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality, even in less-than-ideal conditions. It also taught me the importance of clear communication with coaches and adapting my approach to ensure they received the insights they needed to help their players improve.

Subject: Application for Sports Analyst Position

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

I am writing to express my strong interest in the Sports Analyst position at [Company/Organization Name]. With extensive experience in the field of sports analytics and a competitive background as a professional Judo athlete representing the Sports Authority of India, I am confident in my ability to make a valuable contribution to your team.

I specialize in delivering actionable insights to coaches and athletes, leveraging my experience to accurately tag games, even under challenging conditions such as low-quality footage or demanding time constraints. On several occasions, I have successfully maintained a 95% accuracy rate while tagging games at 2x speed, ensuring that every player’s performance data is both reliable and insightful.

This unique foundation allows me to approach analysis from the perspective of both an athlete and an analyst, bridging the gap between raw data and real-world performance.
