My hands-on experience with tools like IBM QRadar, Microsoft Defender, Trend Micro Cloud One & Vision One, and others, allows me to effectively handle real-time threats. I’ve earned several certifications, including Vision One XDR Certified Professional and Certified AppSec Practitioner (CAP), showcasing my dedication to staying up-to-date with industry standards.

I’ve also actively participated in various labs and training, such as network analysis, phishing analysis, ransomware investigation, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework, all of which have enhanced my skills in threat detection and mitigation. I am passionate about continuous learning and applying my knowledge to safeguard against evolving cyber threats. What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of the most challenging experiences in a past role was when I encountered unauthorized traffic while analyzing Zscaler logs, which included data from social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and streaming services such as Jio Cinema and Hotstar. Although these were genuine domains, they posed potential risks related to data leakage, bandwidth consumption, and possible malware infiltration. The challenge was not only identifying the risks but also communicating the severity to my team and suggesting appropriate actions to mitigate these issues.

Balancing security concerns with user accessibility, while ensuring proper alignment with the company’s policies, required a comprehensive analysis and clear communication. I recommended blocking or restricting access to non-essential services to reduce risks, while working with stakeholders to ensure business operations were not disrupted. This situation sharpened my skills in threat detection, risk management, and cross-team collaboration, making it a valuable learning experience.
