About candidate

About you
I am currently a cyber security analyst professional who is passionate about security awareness training, with a deep understanding of facilitating the education of employees when it comes to cyber security. The employees of companies are sometimes the first line of defense when it comes to protecting an organization from ransomware, data breach, or compromised networks. Educating employees is an important part of cybersecurity, and not just the tools or frameworks in place to secure an environment.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am looking for a new role that involves cybersecurity awareness and training. In this role, I would enjoy and excel at putting together training for employees, launching simulated phishing campaigns to test employees' knowledge on spotting suspicious emails, and measure those metrics company-wide. I'm looking for this role to be fully remote if possible, so that I may be able to excel in a creative mindset environment.
What you are interested in working with us?
I am interested in working with you because of the knowledge, skills, expertise I can bring to your company, and for the fact that you value cybersecurity awareness and training strongly enough to have a specific role for it. There are very few companies who have a role for just cybersecurity awareness and training, and I believe that companies who do, take awareness and training in the cybersecurity world very important.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
The most challenging experience in my current role was taking over a security awareness training program that needed a lot of work. There wasn't an emphasis on the importance of cybersecurity awareness and training in the beginning, so I had to communicate with leadership and upper management to help create a security culture that would help protect our data and technological environment.
