About candidate

About you
Highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with over four years of experience in politics, government, policy analysis, and stakeholder management within the public and private sectors. My expertise spans policy analysis, legislative research, regulatory compliance, and effective communication. I have demonstrated success in managing diverse teams, improving social media engagement, and reducing costs through strategic data analysis.
I have also drafted policy documents and planned engagements for U.S. Department of State officials.
Improved operational efficiency and compliance processes as Operations Manager at Georgetown University Federal Credit Union.
Core strengths include leadership, team collaboration, and a proven ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I thrive in roles that require critical thinking, collaboration, and clear communication—all of which are central to policy analysis. I also enjoy the challenge of balancing diverse stakeholder interests, which is critical to crafting policies that are both effective and equitable. Ultimately, I am drawn to the field because it allows me to contribute to building stronger, more inclusive systems and policies that improve lives.
What you are interested in working with us?
I want to be a policy analyst because I am passionate about using research, data, and strategic thinking to solve complex societal problems and create meaningful change. Policy analysis allows me to blend my analytical skills with my interest in understanding political, economic, and social systems to design solutions that benefit communities and organizations.

The role aligns with my desire to dive deep into issues, assess their implications, and propose practical, evidence-based recommendations. Whether it's drafting legislative proposals, assessing regulatory frameworks, or facilitating negotiations, being a policy analyst offers the opportunity to impact decision-making processes that shape public and private sector initiatives.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
While working at the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, I led a team to organize and launch a podcast featuring interviews with foreign diplomats and officials, including ambassadors from Germany and France. One of our most complex projects involved securing an interview with a high-profile international figure on a tight schedule.

The challenge was multifaceted: coordinating across time zones, navigating strict protocols, and ensuring the interview met the journal's editorial standards while also respecting diplomatic sensitivities. Unexpectedly, a last-minute scheduling conflict arose that jeopardized the interview.

To address the issue, I quickly mobilized my team, maintained open communication with the official's staff, and restructured the schedule to accommodate both parties. I also drafted contingency plans to ensure the interview would remain impactful, even under time constraints.

In the end, the interview proceeded successfully, garnering positive feedback from both the official's team and our audience. This experience taught me the value of adaptability, proactive problem-solving, and maintaining professionalism under pressure—skills I continue to rely on in my career.
