About you
I am a married, a mother of 2 grown children, passionate about my family. My girls are in New York and North Carolina and I miss them every day. We just moved across the country from Fl to Nv for my husband's job. We were from Las Vegas originally so we have come home to aunts, uncles, many cousins. I am also caretaker to my 84 year old mom so that is the reason I am seeking remote/part time work at this time. We lost my dad a year and a half ago after a 5 week hospital stay - we are all very close so we are still grieving his loss.I enjoy walking/running every morning 4-5 miles a day and reading/listening to books. I miss the beach but am enjoying the mountains again.
What are you looking for in a new role?
Aside from the extra income, I am looking for human connection since I would mostly only be talking with my mom throughout the day. I have always enjoyed nursing in any capacity and want to help in anyway possible. It is a gift to me to be able to serve those in my life and I am looking for an outlet.
What you are interested in working with us?
I have been looking for work over the last couple of weeks and your company came up and it interested me. It seems like it would be a good fit, especially at this time in my life.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
I was a school nurse for the last 20 years and I absolutely loved it! I worked alongside a woman that became a best friend/sister in my life. We were extremely busy during the school day so time management and working quickly was probably the most challenging. I feel I had to learn to prioritize everything to make sure we were getting everything done that we needed to.
