About candidate

About you
I have more than four years of practical experience as a social worker in the development sector focusing on gender issues, mental health, and public policy. I hold an MSW along with a PG Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have interacted with communities and government departments as well as with research teams. My work has included police station support for survivors, readiness evaluation of rural development schemes, and field studies on gender. I value positions that include reflection and writing, especially where I can prepare substantive reports or policies, or influence important discussions. I am seeking remote positions that would allow me to invest my mind and heart in efforts aligned with my personal core values of equity, care, and sustainable change.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am deeply passionate about roles that address gender equity, mental health, and social welfare, areas that align with both my values and professional experience. My ideal role involves meaningful analysis, impact-driven collaboration, and clear, thoughtful documentation that truly reflects the essence of the work.

While I prefer remote opportunities for the focus they allow on coordinated teamwork and outcomes, I’m also willing to work in person if required in the future. I’m drawn to organizations that foster a culture rooted in compassion, integrity, and continuous growth. Above all, I aspire to grow into a more self-aware, responsible individual while contributing to work that genuinely serves people and creates lasting impact.
What you are interested in working with us?
I’m interested in working with your organization because of its commitment to driving meaningful change through ESG initiatives. Your focus on sustainability, responsible governance, and social impact aligns closely with both my professional background and personal values. I’m inspired by the opportunity to contribute to work that not only supports ethical and sustainable business practices but also uplifts communities and fosters long-term impact. Being part of a team that values integrity, innovation, and continuous growth motivates me to bring my best to the table and grow alongside the organization.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of the most challenging experiences I faced in a past role was providing psychosocial legal aid to women survivors at a police station. Many of the cases involved deep trauma, and gaining the trust of the survivors while navigating the bureaucratic system was emotionally taxing. I had to balance empathy with professional boundaries, remain composed during intense situations, and advocate for their rights while working within the limitations of the system. However, this experience taught me the importance of resilience, active listening, and the power of consistent, compassionate support. It shaped my ability to handle difficult conversations and reinforced my commitment to work that uplifts and empowers others.

Dear Sir/Mam,

I am writing to express my keen interest in the ESG Consultant position at your esteemed organization. With a strong academic foundation in social work and counseling, combined with over four years of professional experience across government and development sectors, I bring both passion and expertise to roles that center on sustainability, social impact, and responsible governance.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked on projects that lie at the intersection of gender equity, policy evaluation, and community development. From providing psychosocial legal aid for women survivors to evaluating rural development schemes as a National Level Monitor, my roles have demanded both compassion and critical thinking. I have also been involved in field research on gender issues, which sharpened my documentation and analysis skills—something I hope to apply meaningfully in ESG-focused work.

What draws me to this opportunity is the chance to contribute to a team that values ethical, measurable progress and is committed to driving systemic change. I’m particularly interested in the analytical and impact-oriented nature of ESG work, and I am confident that my background aligns well with your goals. While remote work is my preference at the moment, I am willing to relocate or take up in-person responsibilities if needed in the future.

Happy to share my detailed resume upon request. Thank you for reviewing my application. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to your mission and grow alongside your team.
