About candidate

About you
I am a passionate educator and training leader with over a decade of experience designing and delivering impactful learning experiences across higher education, corporate, and nonprofit sectors. My work focuses on empowering individuals and teams through strategic training programs, instructional design, and technology integration. Whether facilitating webinars, developing curriculum, or coaching professionals, I bring a learner-centered approach grounded in adult learning theory and performance improvement. I thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments where I can build learning cultures, optimize team performance, and contribute to meaningful organizational growth.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I’m looking for a role where I can apply my experience in instructional design, adult learning, and team training to support meaningful organizational growth. I’m especially interested in contributing to a learning culture that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ideally, I’d like to work in an environment where I can both lead and learn—designing impactful training while also growing professionally through new challenges and technologies.
What you are interested in working with us?
I’m drawn to your organization because of its commitment to developing people through thoughtful, innovative training programs. Your emphasis on lifelong learning, cross-functional collaboration, and performance-driven development aligns perfectly with my experience and passion for adult education. I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute to a learning culture where my skills in instructional design, facilitation, and learner engagement can make a meaningful impact.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of the most challenging experiences I faced was leading a system-wide training on Ellucian Banner during a major platform upgrade. The audience included users with varying technical skill levels, and the timeline was tight. I addressed the challenge by designing role-specific modules, offering virtual office hours, and creating user-friendly guides. This approach reduced support tickets post-launch and helped ensure a smooth transition for the entire team.

Cover latter

With over a decade of experience in adult education, instructional design, and virtual training, I bring a strong foundation in developing engaging learning experiences that improve performance and support strategic organizational goals.

In my roles as Director of College Counseling and Lead Undergraduate Instructor, I’ve designed and delivered high-impact training programs for both staff and learners using a range of modalities—including virtual workshops, self-paced eLearning modules, and blended learning strategies. I regularly use platforms like Zoom, Blackboard, and Articulate Rise to build interactive, learner-centered training rooted in adult learning theory, scenario-based design, and microlearning techniques.

I’ve led cross-functional training initiatives that align with business priorities, whether guiding educators through new technologies or coaching teams on performance development tools. I continuously evaluate learner outcomes using surveys, analytics, and feedback loops to refine content and improve knowledge retention. Additionally, I collaborate with managers and stakeholders to ensure training meets both individual and team performance goals.

What excites me about this opportunity is your commitment to adaptive learning and lifelong development. I would welcome the opportunity to bring my creativity, technical expertise, and facilitation experience to help grow a culture of continuous learning at Naukri Mitra.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to your learning and development vision.

Sincerely,

Joshua D Frye
