About candidate

About you
I live and work in Central Florida, United States. In the past, I have worked as a physician.(cardiologist, internal medicine, physician, emergency room, physician, participated in multiple clinical), as well as a laboratory director and scientific review officer. Over the years I have participated in the hiring of many different healthcare personnel, such as physicians, nurses, administrators, technicians, and technologies. Over this time I became quite adept at determining who would be good for a given role and who would have the long-term staying power in a given role. I think I would have a great deal to add to an organization in terms of seeking out and hiring healthcare personnel
What are you looking for in a new role?
A sense that I am doing good work and finding good people and placing them in good roles, freedom to work remotely
What you are interested in working with us?
From everything I’ve read, the role appears to be reliable and just what I’m looking for, and that flexibility and predictability are what I’m looking for
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
I haven’t enjoyed rules in the past where other people have been difficult to work with or had a suboptimal work ethic and didn’t enjoy working as a team

My name is Sean O’Rourke. I am a retired cardiologist, having suffered a disability in 2008
and affecting my ability to work full-time as a cardiologist. Prior to my disability, I worked for many
years ie decades in internal medicine, emergency medicine and finally as a cardiologist. Despite my
disability, I remain very interested in most areas of medicine and would like to continue utilizing
my skills to whatever degree they are applicable and in whatever field I find myself. I am also interested in utilizing my
background in chemistry / science and more recently, my exposure to administrative medicine as a laboratory director and as a scientific review of the year as part of GGIT to whatever extent this is practical. Having used this skill to varying degrees in the past, I remain enthusiast and interested in the
arts and writing, having written for multiple various organizations over the years, as part of
my job in internal medicine and cardiology, primarily explaining various aspects of medicine and health. I plan to use these skills effectively in the future. Please consider me for your
position as I pledge to diligently, use the skills I have acquired in a positive way every day of my life.
