About you
My background includes almost two decades experience as a radiology transcriptionist with both clinic and hospital accounts. I fully understand adherence to TAT, accurate reports and patient demographics. I have an excellent understanding of all reports such as CTs, MRIs, ultrasounds, nuclear medicine exams, as well as plain film radiographs. I have been out of the field for several years, but I am excited to have an opportunity to return to work and prove myself a valuable asset to your company.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am looking for a challenging and professional experience in radiology transcription where I can use my skills to benefit myself and the the radiology companies I work for. I am available to work part-time hours as needed by the account to ensure client and patient needs. I would like to become a valuable and responsible member of your team.
What you are interested in working with us?
I enjoy radiology transcription and look forward to returning to this field and using my skills to establish good relationships with cowrkers and clients. I would like to use my experience to ensure both the success of your company and my future. Radiology transcription has changed and I would enjoy the opportunity to change with the field and grow in my abilities.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
In the past, the accounts could become very busy. At one point I worked on eight different accounts on a daily basis, some on different platforms. I worked as a lead on one account that was occasionally short handed. I performed QA and also kept the account within turnaround times. While this was challenging, it was also very satisfying.

I am very interested in working as a radiology transcriptionist on a part-time basis. My hours are flexible. I have experience typing ESL dictators, using different software platforms, and ensuring accurate reports and demographics. My background includes working as a radiology transcriptionist from 1999-2017. This experience included all modalities such as MRIs, CTs, ultrasounds, PET scans, nuclear medicine studies, mammograms and plain film radiographs. I am responsible and dedicated to ensuring both the clients' and patients' needs are met.

I feel confident I can return to this type of work and be an asset to your company. I know the field has changed with accounts requiring more specifics to meet their needs,greater technology requirements and restrictions on the amount of pay available to complete this. I know this is now completed in a global economy and will enjoy the chance to meet and get to know your team!

The software I have worked with includes ExpressScribe, Addabas, Powerscribe, PACS system, as well as others. I have worked with most versions of Microsoft Office Word. I am willing to train on your software on my own time to get up to speed on the accounts and learning their account specifics.
