What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of the most challenging experiences I've successfully navigated involved a complex system migration for a large healthcare client. The existing system was outdated and inefficient, impacting patient care. My role encompassed everything from initial needs assessment and system design to overseeing the implementation, integration with existing infrastructure, and comprehensive user training. The biggest hurdle was managing the transition while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations. Through meticulous planning, proactive communication with stakeholders, and a dedicated support team, we successfully launched the new system on time and within budget. The improved efficiency and positive user feedback validated the project's success and its positive impact on patient care.

  • Experience of Health Data Management from template preparation to data collection, data entry, data cleaning, data analysis to report production, … being a Health Data Manager.

Currently, I’m working in an International NGO, Jembi Health Systems , as an In-country Consultant and the following are some of my main actvities.

  • I assess client Digital Health and healthcare needs and develop tailored strategies for optimizing Digital Health service delivery.
  • I recommend, implement, and support various digital health technologies to enhance client offerings.
  • I train client staff on effective utilization of online health tools and provid ongoing technical support in terms of Information Systems, Policy and Governance, Capacity Building etc.
  • I ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain robust data security measures for all implemented solutions.
  • I track performance metrics, analyze data, and provided actionable insights for continuous improvement of digital health and health services.

With BSc degree in Information Systems and MSc in Health Informatics, I’ve a comprehensive understanding of Health Services and related Health Information Management System.
