Most recently, I worked at Indian School Darsait as a therapist and counselor for 6.7 years, until January 2024. During my time there, I conducted workshops to train teachers on assessing and correcting students' postures, ensuring that proper posture was emphasized among students. I was honored to receive the Emerging Physiotherapist Award in 2023, which recognized my contributions to the field.
What are you looking for in a new role?
In this role, I am looking forward to applying my expertise in ergonomics to create healthier and more efficient work environments in a virtual setting. I expect to contribute to designing ergonomic solutions tailored for remote workspaces, helping individuals prevent injuries and improve productivity. What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of the most challenging experiences in my previous role was encouraging students to adopt proper posture habits during their daily activities. Many students, especially younger ones, found it difficult to maintain good posture while sitting for long hours, and some were resistant to change. To address this, I introduced interactive workshops and fun activities that made learning about posture engaging and relatable for them. By incorporating visual aids and gamification, I was able to motivate them to practice good posture more consistently. This experience taught me the value of creativity and patience when working with younger individuals to instill long-lasting habits.
