I am writing to express my interest in the telehealth position. With extensive experience managing teams of LVNs, CNAs, caregivers, and DSPs across various roles, I am confident in my ability to make a valuable contribution to your team.
Throughout my career, I have been responsible for training staff, conducting in-service education, and ensuring that patient care operations run smoothly and efficiently. I have diligently monitored medication administration and documentation to ensure the highest standards of safety and accuracy are upheld. My role also included training field LVNs in hospice and home health settings, including post-operative care, and teaching them about comfort kits, while emphasizing the importance of compassion in patient and family interactions.
Additionally, I have played an active role in the hiring process, helping identify and onboard qualified team members. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I led teams during pediatric vaccination events, ensuring patient safety by monitoring for adverse reactions and providing thorough patient education to parents. I also trained staff on intake, patient registration, and verifying the correct vaccination schedules for all vaccinations, including those for adults and pediatric patients. During that time, I worked as a crisis and triage nurse, speaking with patients and families over the phone to dispatch nurses according to priority and distance.
I have always been confident in my ability to communicate effectively with all healthcare members involved in patient care, as well as with family, and the patient or resident themselves. It is easy to listen to people’s needs and then accommodate them to fit those needs. I am also capable of presenting a plan that someone might disagree with, if it is for their best benefit, without offending them or making them feel as if their needs aren’t taken into account.
I am passionate about delivering high-quality care and cultivating a team-oriented environment. My leadership experience, clinical knowledge, and dedication to compassionate patient care make me a strong candidate for this position.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to discussing how my background and skills can benefit your organization.
Sincerely,
Adam Ahmed, LVN
