About candidate

About you
I am a nurse looking to do telehealth or remote patient care. I have experience with treatment plans, specialized diets, and general telemedicine.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am negotiable regarding pay but I would like to start helping patients as soon as possible. I can check them in for telemedicine visits, by recording vitals and going over meds and history, look up records, help with patient education, etc.
What you are interested in working with us?
I saw your on line job position for LPN remote work. I would like to work from home since I already work full time in Raleigh as a nurse in an outpatient setting. I need extra income, but more importantly I have the skills to help more patients.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
In nursing school I had to administer blood pressure medication. I did not realize how critical it is to take the patient’s blood pressure and make sure it is within the parameters before administering the medication. My instructor had to remind me just before I administered it. It was crucial, I could have endangered the patient by dropping the BP too low.

To Whom It May Concern,

It is with delight that I write this letter of recommendation and support on behalf of Leslie (Willow) Licari LPN. Willow joined our Rheumatology team during a time of an acute staffing shortage. While she had no experience with rheumatology patients, Willow embraced the challenge to learn a new specialty with a positive attitude, an open mind, and a caring heart.

Willow quickly became an integral part of our team. Willow is on time, and reliable. She maintains a presence which reflects the utmost professionalism and is a pleasure to work with.  Her doctor relies on her for obtaining pertinent medical records for new patients, scheduling patients appropriately and coordinating care where needed.  Willow was the lead nurse with our Rheumatology Rural Outreach Rural Health program which allows patients in rural areas of Colorado virtual access to specialty care services. She prioritizes her work well.

In addition to the standard check-in, rooming and discharging routines of her patients, Willow also manages the multitude of incoming electronic faxes which come to our clinic. She completes and processes forms, assists in expired medication review, stocking patient rooms and oversees stocking of clinic supplies.

Willow knows the scope of her practice and appropriately brings in her doctors when questions arise or in urgent situations.  Willow has earned the reputation of being an eager learner.  Our endocrinology team will often request Willow for their assistance when they are in need because of her open frame of mind. Her patients and their families also speak highly of her care and interactions with them.

I feel Willow will continue to grow in her profession and would highly recommend her for any position she applies for.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to me for any additional information about my work with Willow.

Sincerely,

Joy Mulder RN, CCCTM
