Looking for remote LPN part time employment

My name is Jasmine Thomas and I am an LPN. I currently work full-time at an Urgent Care. I have a variety of experience in the nursing field. I started out as a PCA, worked as a med-tech, then become a supervisor, an assistant DON, and then a director of nursing myself. So, I honor all portions of nursing. In urgent care, I take care of different people of different ages with different medical conditions every day. I really love to help people and make a difference. I am currently in school to obtain my RN with the end goal to become an NP.

I am looking to gain knowledge in all aspects in nursing to be able to better care for patients and have experience in all fields. I know that Telehealth is more convenient for patients and I would like to be able to help provide care for patients who are unable to go out for visits.

I want to be able to have the opportunity to work remotely and be able to still provide care for patients.

I think the most challenging experiences for me in a past role was when I became a Director of Nursing at a very young age and I had a lot of resistance from staff but I had to put my pride aside and really show that they could trust me and I was there for us to all work together. We all built a strong bond and became more like a small work family. I still talk to them to this day even though I no longer work there. I realize now being older and going through things in life, that I can understand some of their frustrations that can happen with the fear of change they probably felt.
