Learning and development Specialist

In my personal life, I am a proud mother of a vibrant 6-year-old, and my experiences as a parent have shaped much of my perspective on balance, patience, and personal growth. I cherish the time spent nurturing my child while also staying focused on my professional ambitions. Being a mother has fueled my drive to excel in my career, as I want to set an example of resilience and ambition for my child.

I am always looking for opportunities to grow, both personally and professionally, and I embrace the challenges that come with balancing motherhood and my career. This dual focus motivates me to continuously push my limits, striving for excellence in all that I do.

As a Learning and Development Specialist, instructional design is one of my core strengths. I approach it with a learner-centered mindset, ensuring that training content is not only informative but also engaging and applicable. My experience in instructional design allows me to create structured learning paths, using techniques such as blended learning, microlearning, and scenario-based training. I focus on aligning the learning objectives with real-world tasks and business needs, making sure that the training leads to measurable performance improvements.

In addition, I have extensive experience in Learning Management System (LMS) management. I have worked with various LMS platforms to develop, organize, and track training modules. I ensure that the LMS is user-friendly, facilitating easy access to learning resources for employees at all levels. My LMS management includes creating reports to measure the effectiveness of training, tracking learner progress, and updating course materials based on feedback and evolving business goals. I also ensure the LMS is optimized to support different formats, such as video, interactive modules, and assessments, to provide a comprehensive learning experience.

I'm interested in building content, managing learning management system, data management, the overall skill development and stakeholder management.

The most challenging was reducing a million dollar cost in training and development with a lean approach. Implementation of this was the most difficult. It also involved including AI in a tool and out of the results suggest learning programs accordingly.
