When faced with a problem in a microbiology laboratory, my approach is to first identify the root cause by conducting a thorough analysis of the issue. For example, during my time at Chakadola Foods, we encountered a sudden increase in microbial contamination in a batch of processed beverage products. I immediately initiated a comprehensive investigation, including reviewing production logs, conducting additional testing, and collaborating with the production team to pinpoint the source of contamination. After identifying the issue to be related to a specific processing equipment, I worked with the maintenance team to implement cleaning and sanitization protocols, which successfully resolved the contamination problem and ensured product quality.
