About you
Therapy is effective when there is a space provided to the individual where they can be vulnerable, safe and honest with themselves. I try to provide this space by being genuine in my approach and maintain a non-judgemental and empathetic attitude throughout this process.
Holding a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, I follow a holistic and eclectic approach towards therapy. I have a person-centered approach integrating techniques mainly from CBT, DBT and art therapy according to the individual needs. I have experience of working with various ages including children and adults dealing with relationship issues, family issues, career and academics related issues, stress, neurodevelopmental disability, adjustment issues, depression, anxiety and grief.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am looking for an opportunity to be able to apply my skills and also enhance them and also developed new skills. The opportunity to explore demographics and more mental health concerns and be able to provide with quality care and therapeutic services to as many people as I can.
What you are interested in working with us?
The organization provides me with an opportunity to apply my counseling and therapy skills in a setting where I will be able to come across a range of demographic and mental health issues. Joining this organization would allow me to not only enhance my skills but also expand on them, which would allow me to provide quality interventions and provide therapy and have an impact on as many as I can. The remote work opportunity also gives me a platform to come across people from various backgrounds while not only helping me expand my knowledge but also work at convenience.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of the most challenging experience has been when I was working as a shadow teacher and a counselor for a child with neurodevelopmental disability. The role was challenging as the parents were seemingly expecting me alone to do majority work, even when it concerned related to the child's school tests and homework. Since the relationship seemed not mutual, but one sided and was getting difficult for the child as well as the consistency was broken, even after confronting the parents repeatedly, the role turned out be more challenging than anticipated.

I am writing this to apply for the position of a part time psychologist at your organization, as posted on Naukri Mitra. I am excited to explore and work in the field of psychology as a psychologist and apply my knowledge and practical experience in order to provide quality services to the individual and the organization.

Having completed my M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology and worked with a diverse demographic, including age, gender, mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, stress and neurodevelopmental issues, through internships and prior work, allows me to have developed an empathetic attitude along with an understanding of the various conditions and approaches to be taken while dealing with various individuals. Having experience as not only a psychologist, but also a psychology workshop content creator, shadow teacher and having exposed myself to various therepeautic techniques of CBT, Art therapy and DBT, has only deepened my understanding on the same and allows me to work in a holistic and eclectic approach focusing on not only the issues but also the individual strengths.
