About you
I am a registered nurse with 10 years working experience in different disciplines of nursing. I am currently studying towards a business management qualification and I am looking to expand and grow my career. I am a flexible person, easily adaptable to new environments and always looking for new challenges and to bring my knowledge and experience to add to the success of my work and the business. I am very dynamic and open to new experiences.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am looking to grow in my nursing career in a different discipline. I have always had an interest in the broad possibilities that nursing has to offer. I would like to offer my knowledge and experience to the informatics role to assist the company in achieving its goals therefore assisting in its overall success. I have been inspired by many young nurses which has sparked an interest to the the nurses in tech career and the nurses in corporate environments who also continue to contribute majorly to the care of patients around the world
What you are interested in working with us?
I’m excited to work as a nurse informaticist because I’m passionate about using technology to improve patient care and streamline healthcare processes. With my clinical background and understanding of nursing workflows, I believe I can help bridge the gap between healthcare providers and IT systems to ensure that technology supports effective decision-making. Additionally, working with your organization is appealing to me because of your commitment to innovation and patient-centered care. What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of the most challenging experiences in my previous nursing role was managing a sudden influx of critical patients during a particularly busy shift in the emergency department. We were understaffed due to unexpected absences, and the number of patients requiring immediate attention far exceeded our resources.

The challenge was not only in providing the best possible care to each patient but also in maintaining composure and clear communication with both my team and the patients’ families. To overcome this, I focused on prioritizing care based on acuity, delegating tasks effectively, and ensuring that my team was informed and supported. While it was stressful, this experience reinforced the importance of teamwork, staying calm under pressure, and using my clinical judgment to make quick decisions.

Ultimately, we managed the situation successfully, and I grew from the experience by learning to be more adaptable and improving my crisis management skills.
