What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
As a junior civil engineer, one of my most challenging experiences was during my first project where I was responsible for assisting with site supervision and ensuring that daily work matched the drawings and specifications. I faced difficulties when unexpected changes in the site layout created confusion among the workers. Being new it was intimidating to step in, but I took the initiative to clarify the updated plans with the senior engineer, coordinated with the site team, and helped communicate the changes clearly to avoid delays. This experience taught me how critical communication and attention to detail are on-site, and it really helped me grow in confidence and responsibility early in my career.
