What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of the most challenging experiences I faced was during a period when new regulatory changes were introduced, and we had to quickly adapt our underwriting processes to stay compliant while still meeting loan processing deadlines. The volume of applications was high, and many clients were anxious due to the changes.

It was a balancing act — ensuring each file met new compliance standards while maintaining strong client communication and managing expectations. I took the initiative to work closely with our compliance team to fully understand the new guidelines, and I also created a simple internal checklist that helped our team catch issues early in the process.

It was a demanding time, but it taught me a lot about staying calm under pressure, being proactive with communication, and embracing change as part of the job.
