About you
Hi my name is Taylor! I graduated from Acadia University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology with honours. I am currently doing work abroad in The Netherlands and will be returning back to Canada in April. I have a passion for health and wellness, fitness is my highest priority alongside clean eating and having a positive mindset. I have experience working in disability management and rehabilitation which make me an ideal fit for this role.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I'm looking for a sense of community within this new role throughout team members. Also hoping to be able to give back to others by spreading the knowledge I have in terms of health and wellness to be able to help people live a long, happy and healthy life.
What you are interested in working with us?
I am interested in working with you as your company focuses on empowering individuals which aligns closely with my personal philosophies. Im eager to bring my skills into the company to grow as an individual as well as a professional.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
Mainly working with individuals who are struggle severely with mental disabilities and are unable to complete activities of daily living has proven to be a struggle of course to motivate these individuals. Through perseverance, positive mindset and consistency, the reward of helping these individuals improve a little bit everyday is so worth it.

I have a strong background in Kinesiology, 3 years of professional experience working as a disability case manager as well as a rehabilitation specialist. In addition, I have a lifelong passion for promoting a healthy active lifestyle. This passion derives from my 20 years of playing competitive sports up into the professional level.

As a former professional ringette player, I consider myself to be a fitness enthusiast. I understand the discipline, resilience and mindset that it takes to achieve personal health and fitness goals. In conjunction with my experience as a sports coach and leader of my sports teams, I naturally inspire and motivate people to unlock their full potential.

In my previous role as a Rehabilitation Specialist, I created and implemented personalized rehab plans that suited each individual's overall needs. This requires discussions and in depth questions from the client themselves, their health professionals and often times family members of the clients as well. This experience really provided me with skills that are directly applicable to coaching individuals on their wellness journeys.

What excites me the most about the possibility of joining the team is empowering individuals through holistic health solutions as this aligns closely with my personal philosophies. I am confident that my blend of passion for health and wellness combined with my professional experience and ability to connect with diverse individuals make me a favorable candidate for this position.
