2. Healthcare E-learning Development: This project helps me to understand the nuances of e-learning in healthcare. Being a part of healthcare and medicine is a key motivating factor.
3. Remote work: The flexibility to work from home helps me focus better as a mother of a 7-year-old.
I wouldn't call it a 'past role' as I am on a freelance contract and currently working with them.
A new editor took over our team who is more aligned with skimming scientific papers and creating question sets out of it rather than conventional higher secondary school chemistry topics. This was a challenge for me because creating question sets from a scientific paper is difficult as compared to summarising it. My brain was forced to think out of the box and I am thankful for it. Honestly, it was a bit uncomfortable in the beginning as I had to invest double the amount of time in reading. However, once I started working and adapting to this new situation, it helped me realize the importance of READING in scientific writing. Reading something that is totally new and creating a question set out of it was a challenge and I am happy to have encountered it.

I hold a degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, and chemistry. During my studies, I developed strong research and writing skills, which I used to create e-learning materials for both myself and my peers. My focus has always been on presenting scientific concepts in clear and accessible ways, using visuals such as diagrams, graphs, and schematics to enhance understanding and retention. I love communicating science.
In my postgraduate studies in organic chemistry, I further refined these skills by preparing several slide decks for academic presentations.
While living in the UK, I completed an English L2 course (Adult Education, Manchester) to better understand different teaching methods and improve my communication skills. As part of my coursework, I created a presentation for a non-scientific audience about Dr. Frances Kelsey’s role in preventing the Thalidomide tragedy in America. This experience earned me praise from my instructor and peers for presenting science in an engaging and easily understandable manner.
