HCC Coding Position

I am writing to express my interest in the part-time HCC Coding position at your organization. With a strong foundation in medical coding and a thorough understanding of CMS risk adjustment models, I bring both precision and dedication to supporting accurate and compliant documentation practices.

I hold a current CPC and CRC certification and have over 7 years of experience working with ICD-10-CM coding in outpatient and/or risk adjustment environments. My familiarity with HCC models, coupled with my keen attention to detail, allows me to identify and abstract appropriate diagnoses from provider documentation effectively. I am also well-versed in using electronic medical records (EMRS) such as EPIC, Cerner, eClinicalWorks and have used a few different coding platforms, which helps ensure both speed and accuracy in a remote or part-time setting.

I am particularly drawn to this role due to its flexibility and focus on quality over quantity. I take pride in my ability to work independently while maintaining compliance with strict coding standards and confidentiality protocols. I am confident that my coding skills, work ethic, and commitment to continuous learning would make me a valuable asset to your team.  I have been a remote worker since 2015 am very familiar with working remotely.
