About candidate

About you
Results-driven professional with over 20 years of experience leading diverse teams in educational, vocational, and community projects. Skilled in grant management, financial reporting, and administration, with a deep passion for supporting marginalized communities. Proven track record in securing significant funding and managing resources effectively. Highly motivated to learn and collaborate, with a strong commitment to providing educational opportunities to the world’s most vulnerable children.
What are you looking for in a new role?
Chance to work at home and at the same time knowing that my work is creating an impact across society.
What you are interested in working with us?
I would like the chance to develop my grant-making skills.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
The most challenging experience has been to work with people of a different culture and establish a working and trustworthy relationship with them. I have been working in some of the conflict ridden communities here in the Philippines and the work was difficult brought about by the difference in cultures and at the same time we were always under the constant danger of violence.

I am expressing my willingness to apply for the position of Grants Analyst. I have worked in the non-profit sector for more than 20 years. I have a passion for working for young people and children as evidenced by my long years of working among the young people in poor communities here in The Philippines. I have set up various educational and training programs on their behalf. My experience as an Executive Director in Don Bosco Youth Center has also given me the chance to do Human Resource Work and finance work. I have worked as an administrator of a religious community in Manila and have handled financial reporting .  I am an experienced grant writer  and manager having successfully procured funds for the organizations I work with.  Presently I am doing part-time grant management with a non-profit based in the United States. My long years of work has given me the chance to build on a portfolio and expanded my leadership skills. I have successfully managed and led programs that pertain to youth development, education governance , peace-building, health and waste management systems. I am open to learn new things and I consider myself as a life-long learner.
