What are you looking for in a new role?

I officially retired from my full-time school counseling position in the summer of 2023. From there, I worked part-time for a high school district as an emotional-support counselor for students with 504 Plans. I am currently looking for a part-time school counseling job that I can work 15-20 hours/week remotely.

What has been most challenging experience in a past role?

I found trying to find a common time to meet regularly with students was difficult when the student had a full schedule. In these instances, I met with these students during their lunch period, which limited the time to work with a student.

I writing to express my strong interest in working a part-time school counseling job remotely from my home. I have over 30 years working with students ranging from 12 year old through 19 years of age.

Having worked in a high school setting for over 20 years, I have a great appreciation and dedication to help assist young adults navigating their way to meet graduation requirements and assist as they transition to their next endeavors and plans for after high school. I have worked with a variety of students from different cultural , ethic, and racial backgrounds and have always had each student's interest as a top priority.
