About you
Holding a BA in social sciences and master’s degree in human resources management with more than 12 years of experience in D&I in several countries. I have worked for national and organizational organization within diversity and inclusion. My first job was the beginning of my journey in advocating for inclusion as I had the opportunity of meeting several children / youth and persons with disabilities and learn with them about inclusion.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am looking for an opportunity where i can use my experience and knowledge to make a difference and impact in Diversity and inclusion and on the other hand, ensure that I have the opportunity to grow and develop further my skills.
What you are interested in working with us?
I am looking mainly for a remote job but also would like to focus on my specialist in inclusion
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
D&I focuses on changing a mindset to move from a disability charity model (which in the middle east exists still) to a more rights based model where we empower persons with disabilities and ensure opportunities and laws are there. Changing mindsets is not an easy task and challenges are faced, however being patient and listening to the persons help us shape the narrative towards the change needed.

- Developed D&I strategies following a thorough assessment and desk review of the organization’s internal culture to be in line with its vision and mission.
- Developed and implemented diversity and inclusion initiatives in partnerships with different departments (HR, logistics, Admin, et…) to support and ensure equitable opportunities for all.
- Developed and conducted capacity building plans on D&I (inclusion of persons with disabilities, unconscious bias, accessibility etc…).

- Collected and analyzed data to assess effectiveness of the several initiatives and provide insights for continuous improvement. Supported the monitoring and evaluation of inclusion programs to ensure alignment with institutional goals.
