I am looking for a part-time position where I can apply my experience and skills to build and support DEI strategies and implementation.

What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
I have worked with various people at all levels of my former organization. Some of them were challenging to work with and required additional effort and innovative methods to integrate them into the DEI programs. I was able to effectively move people who were skeptical to a place where they were a valuable contributor in the DEI space.

I am interested in the position you posted for a Remote Diversity and Equity Manager. I have over seven years of experience leading DEI strategy.
The qualifications and responsibilities listed in the job description are a good fit with my experience as a DEI Manager and Social Justice Consultant:
- I am wrapping up the final term of my master’s degree program in Social Justice and Community Organizing;
- I have extensive experience launching and managing several Employee Resource Groups for historically marginalized identities.
- I have developed organizational business plans and multi-year DEI strategies. I have also executed the plans and managed the implementation of DEI programs.
- I am a certified Racial Equity Trainer who has worked with leaders, managers, and staff at different organizations. This work requires a high level of skill in navigating complex subject matter and difficult conversations.
