counselling Psychologist

Over the years till date, I have worked at various organisations and schools developing my
counselling skills. In the role of a counselling psychologist, I always had the zeal in dealing
with children and adults going through emotional and behavioural disturbances and also in
helping them to increase a state of equilibrium. I have always given priority to the comfort
and convenience of my clients.
Having said this now I would like to present below some of the highlights of my
qualifications and activities:
 Earned Master degree in Clinical and Counselling Psychology with First class second
rank in the year 2018.
 Worked as a junior psychologist under supervision at Speech Plus Kolkata for one
year.
 Worked as a facilitator of counselling and psychotherapy course recognised by
Jadavpur University at Caring minds Kolkata for five years.
 Worked as school counsellor and educator at Gospel Home School Rishra Hooghly
for two years.
 Led individual counselling sessions for children, adolescents and adults.
 Presently, I am the Faculty of Department of Psychology, Ramakrishna Sarada
Mission Vivekananda Vidya Bhavan Girls college, Kolkata.
 Actively participate as a resource person in various mental health programs at various
colleges in Kolkata.
 Always try to ensure compliance with all safety and privacy norms.
 I have an interest in writing and publishing research papers on various aspects of
Mental Health
 Actively participate in various workshops, conferences and seminars.
My proven ability to listen patiently, be non-judgemental and counsel rationally along with
good communication skills will contribute immensely to the success of the post. Looking
