About candidate

About you
"I am a passionate mental health advisor and counseling psychologist with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Delhi University. Additionally, I hold an MTech degree and currently serve as an assistant professor in an engineering college. My unique academic background allows me to integrate psychological insights with an analytical approach, fostering a well-rounded perspective in both mental health and education.

With a strong foundation in mental health therapy, motivational interviewing, and stress management, I am dedicated to promoting emotional resilience, self-awareness, and overall well-being. My work focuses on individual upliftment, personal growth, and community well-being, ensuring that mental health support is accessible and impactful.

As an educator and psychologist, I am particularly invested in addressing mental health concerns within academic and professional settings, helping students, faculty, and working professionals manage stress, performance anxiety, and emotional challenges. Through counseling, workshops, and awareness programs, I strive to create a positive environment where individuals can thrive personally and professionally.

My approach combines evidence-based psychological techniques with a deep commitment to empathy, ethical practice, and holistic development, making mental wellness an integral part of both individual and community success."
What are you looking for in a new role?
In my role as a counseling psychologist, I am looking for an opportunity where I can apply my skills in a supportive and client-centered environment. I want to work with a diverse client population and contribute to their mental well-being through evidence-based therapeutic approaches. I value a role that offers professional growth, supervision, and opportunities for continuous learning. Additionally, I am looking for a workplace with a positive and collaborative culture that aligns with my values of empathy, ethical practice, and holistic care. Work-life balance and the ability to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives are also important to me."
What you are interested in working with us?
"I am interested in working with your organization because it aligns with my passion for mental health advocacy, counseling, and personal development. With my background in counseling psychology and experience as a mental health advisor, I am eager to contribute my expertise in mental health therapy, motivational interviewing, and stress management to support individuals in their emotional well-being and personal growth.

Additionally, my role as an assistant professor in an engineering college has given me insight into the mental health challenges faced by students, faculty, and professionals. I believe your organization provides a meaningful platform where I can apply my skills to make a positive impact on individuals and the community. I am particularly drawn to the opportunity for professional growth, collaboration, and working in an environment that prioritizes holistic well-being and ethical mental health practices."
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
"One of the most challenging experiences in my past role was addressing the mental health struggles of students and faculty in an academic setting where mental well-being was often overlooked. Many individuals faced high stress, performance anxiety, and burnout, yet there was a stigma around seeking psychological support.

To tackle this challenge, I took a proactive approach by organizing mental health awareness sessions, stress management workshops, and one-on-one counseling sessions. I worked towards normalizing conversations around mental health and created a supportive environment where individuals felt safe to seek help. While breaking these barriers required patience and continuous effort, witnessing the positive impact on students' and faculty members’ well-being made the challenge worthwhile.

This experience strengthened my ability to engage in advocacy, implement practical interventions, and navigate resistance to mental health initiatives in professional and academic spaces."
