Hi, I’m Lakshmi. My journey in communication started in a small classroom where I discovered how powerful language can be. Teaching English as a second language, I saw how words connect people from different backgrounds.

With experience in corporate communications, client relations, and strategic planning, I’ve created messages that build real connections. In training and development, I've designed programs that make a difference, driving continuous improvement and boosting employee engagement.

I love public speaking and presentation skills, using data to make training sessions better. Helping people with career coaching and interview preparation has been a rewarding part of my work.

Teamwork is key to what I do. I enjoy working with others, organizing meetings, creating content, and making sure everyone's voice is heard. My goal is to make communication easy and build bridges through words.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I have over 2 years of experience focused on people culture and employee engagement. In my roles, I’ve worked hard to create initiatives that make the workplace better for everyone. I’ve managed communication strategies to keep employees informed and connected throughout their journey in the company. I enjoy collecting & using the data to understand what works and what doesn’t, which helps me improve our engagement efforts. With my skills in public speaking, teamwork, and strategic planning, I have collaborated with different teams before to understand their needs. So in this role also, I am ready to develop, implement, and manage communication strategies that would enhance employee engagement and align with the company’s values and objectives by working closely with various departments.

What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of the toughest experiences I had in my past role was creating a new training program from the ground up. I had to make sure the content was engaging and suitable for different types of learners. Working with various departments to get their input and feedback was challenging, especially with tight deadlines. However, this experience taught me the value of good communication and teamwork. In the end, seeing the positive impact of the training on employees made all the effort worthwhile.

Hi, I’m Lakshmi, passionate about connecting people through communication. With a background in corporate communications and employee engagement, I love creating content that speaks to everyone in the organization.

As I worked in a startup company, I was working in a team where the entire company system had to be built from scratch. So my role included building relevant strategies, developing training programs, collecting feedback from stakeholders, managing & tracking records, updating presentations and slides, creating documentation, constant research, evaluating through the performance analysis metrics, and development regarding team building strategies and whatever ideas benefitted the company.

Most of the time, we had to 'trial and error' during most scenarios, so my learning came from my experience. So I can proudly say that my 2 years of experience taught me many lessons that I believe will be useful here and these skills can be considered to be equivalent to a 3 - 4 year experienced candidate. Hence, if I get an opportunity to work with your team, I'll make sure not to let down anyone's expectations as an Internal Communications Specialist.
