About candidate

About you
Nothing really interesting about me since I consider myself as a mediocre person. I am a dog (and a little cat) person. I like driving without destination since the scenery is quite therapeutic to me. I graduated under AB English program in one of known State Universities in the Philippines. After graduating, I took teaching units just ensuring that if I already wanted to teach in school setting then I can, but instead of me getting the Licensure Examination for Teachers, I took Civil Service Exam and I passed for Professional Level - this will give Filipinos the eligibility to work to any of Government Bureaus and Agencies. But I love BPO setting in the Philippines. I am interested in getting projects remotely it is because - I'm already comfortable with what Im doing in the office. I am looking forward for challenges that would let me upskill and have growth.
What are you looking for in a new role?
Im looking into developing a curriculum based on a certain process, also into facilitating classes using my curriculum. Ensuring that all standard processes are documented to an SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
What you are interested in working with us?
Remote work. I have dedicated my past 5 years in working with BPO companies in the Philippines. It has always been on site. I don't have any complaints about that but I would like to use my time efficiently. Working at home will save me time from transporting alone. Going to the office takes me almost 2 hours, and to add the time going home.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
When I was still in Operations, handling 23 people - with so much tasks and reports. It has been so hard to coach my team members. In Operations, it is full collaborative work with the Managers, Onshore Partners, Quality Team and your team members. It was a challenge for me at first because 23 is a large number. Usually in a team, 15 is the most number that you'll have. I was able to overcome that challenge by ensuring that I am ahead of my tasks and deadlines so that I can have the ample time for unforeseen circumstances that may arise. I also do Time Management using Eisenhower's Matrix - and everything went well.
