About you
I am Shiromani working in UK as a Respiratory Nurse currently. I had previous experience in various fields in India as Nursing Tutor, Assistant Lecturer, Medical claim Analyst, Subject matter Expert and Quality Auditor. I am now flexible to any type of work in nursing as per my experience, but I am more inclined towards Health insurance and corporate work as I feel more satisfied working with those roles. I soon have a plan to shift back to India and I am looking for a remote Job where I can stay at home and still work. I am confident that I'll definitely do my job as best as I can.
What are you looking for in a new role?
With my experience, I would expect a better role as I can find myself experienced in leading a team previously. Team Leader is where I can start with of, but again I would leave it to the organisation for their choice. I would prefer WFH. But when I shift to India, I am more than happy to do Hybrid type of working as well.
What you are interested in working with us?
Telehealth has always been interesting and I did deal with health insurance companies since 9 years. Now in my current role I have the opportunity to face to face assess the patients and also through Tele depending on the situation. As this Job is in Bhopal where I am Married to , so I will be living there soon, hence this Job gives me opportunity to work in the place in the stream of my interest.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
As a common understanding that every job has it's own ease and challenges, my previous, I mean the current Job is more challenging than any of the Jobs I did in the past. Specially dealing with rebellious and confused patients. Their behaviour hinders with the appropriate care they need to receive.

I am Shiromani Purushotham. I have completed my Bsc Nursing in 2008. I initially worked as a Nursing tutor in Hubli, Karnataka. Then Shifted to Bengaluru for better Job opportunities. I worked in St. Philomena's College of Nursing for 1.5 years and got selected in AXA health Insurance company as Medical claim analyst, promoted as SME. It was a great start in Health insurance for 2.5 years. learnt a lot about ICD9 and ICD10, analysing claims - TAT ones specially. Later I moved to Cognizant and started working as SME with US health insurance provider - Aetna. Later worked as a Quality Auditor. Totally 7 years was a massive change in my approach and experience with corporate. Dealing with Clients, Team meeting and presentations. Then moved to UK to explore as a nurse in overseas. Now I have completed 3 years in UK. Got a different aspect of nursing career. Learnt lot of patient related care, medical treatment in emergency.                                                     I am experience in all the round of nursing life and I am fluent in English and Hindi mainly. My mother tongue is Telugu and I can also speak Kannada. I am very sure with my nursing skills, corporate skills and good command over Indian languages I can deal with a better role if given an opportunity.                                      This is my brief introduction. I believe, I would be a good team member and will do my work as best as can.
