About candidate

About you
I am a nurse with hands-on experience in telehealth, utilization review, and clinical care across different healthcare settings. Skilled at reviewing claims, authorizations, and care requests, I guide patients and members through complex medical and insurance decisions with empathy and clarity. Proficient in Epic, other digital health platforms, and remote systems, I quickly identify urgent issues, provide wellness coaching, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, patient-centered outcomes. Detail-oriented, compassionate, and solutions-driven, I am passionate about making healthcare and insurance simpler, fairer, and more human for every member.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am looking for a role that allows me to transition from bedside nursing to telehealth, where I can use my clinical expertise, leadership experience, and proficiency in Epic to help patients manage their health from home. I want to provide empathetic, patient-centered care, guide families through complex healthcare decisions, and prevent complications while improving patient confidence and outcomes. A remote position that combines technology with human connection aligns perfectly with my skills and professional goals.
What you are interested in working with us?
I am interested in working with your organization because of its focus on telehealth and patient-centered care. I want to use my nursing experience, leadership skills, and Epic proficiency to support patients at home, help them navigate recovery and chronic care, and make healthcare more accessible, empathetic, and effective.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
One of the most challenging experiences in my nursing career was coping with the passing of a patient I had cared for closely. It was emotionally difficult to see a life end despite all interventions, but it taught me the importance of providing compassionate support to families, communicating honestly yet sensitively, and continuing to deliver high-quality care for other patients. This experience strengthened my resilience, empathy, and dedication to guiding patients and families through difficult situations.

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am excited to apply for the Telehealth Nurse position. As a BSN, RN with hands-on experience in healthcare settings, I have developed strong clinical expertise, critical thinking skills, and the ability to guide patients and families through complex healthcare decisions with empathy and clarity.

At AUBMC, I gained leadership experience in patient care coordination, mentoring colleagues, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes. I am also proficient in Epic and other digital health systems, which allows me to track patient data, monitor trends, and document care efficiently—skills essential for remote patient monitoring and telehealth services.

I am particularly motivated to transition from bedside nursing to telehealth, where I can leverage my clinical knowledge, digital proficiency, and communication skills to help patients manage chronic conditions, recover safely at home, and gain confidence in their care. I am passionate about providing empathetic, patient-centered support, preventing complications, and creating a meaningful connection with patients and families even virtually.

I am confident that my combination of clinical expertise, leadership experience, and digital skills makes me well-suited to contribute to your team’s mission of delivering compassionate, effective telehealth care.

Warm regards,
Aya Al Hajj
