I am writing to express my keen interest in environmental and sustainability-focused positions including, but not limited to, Environmental Planner, Urban Planner, Environmental Consultant, Sustainability Analyst, GIS Analyst, Climate Change Analyst, and Project Assistant roles.
As a recent postgraduate in Environmental Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, and a civil engineering graduate from NSS College of Engineering, I bring a strong interdisciplinary background combining spatial analysis, sustainable infrastructure, policy integration, and data-driven planning. My academic projects and internships have allowed me to work across sectors like pollution control, climate risk assessment, green energy planning, and urban resilience.
During my internship at the Kerala State Pollution Control Board, I conducted GIS-based air and water pollution mapping, carried out manual AQI calculations, and contributed to the Environmental Impact Assessment for the Periyar downstream. In my master’s thesis, I worked with 30 years of IMD data and CMIP6-based SSP projections to develop multi-hazard maps for Kalpetta, Wayanad, aligning the findings with national and state climate frameworks. I have hands-on experience using ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Python, and pollution modeling techniques such as Gaussian plume methods.
My exposure to projects ranging from green energy strategies for Sirmaur (Himachal Pradesh) to pollution zoning in Nagpur, and embodied energy analysis in buildings, has equipped me to address real-world sustainability challenges using both quantitative and policy-driven approaches. I am proficient in stakeholder engagement, environmental documentation, and spatial planning, with a keen eye for detail and a collaborative spirit.
I am looking for a role where I can continue to learn, grow, and meaningfully contribute to solving environmental and urban challenges. I am especially enthusiastic about opportunities that integrate climate action, waste management, clean energy transitions, and equitable urban development.
