A versatile lawyer in the legal profession with 15 years of experience in general corporate advisory with a focus on IP related matters especially in the media, entertainment and technology space. Experienced in corporate compliance, due diligence, dispute resolution and contract management across industries. Holding a certification of a Data Protection Officer with requisite knowledge of data protection laws, having passed the foundation level relating to GDPR from the EU GDPR Institute.

Was associated with Universal Music Group as a Senior Manager Legal towards documentation for acquisition/ licensing of music content and advisory towards legal issues faced by the Label’s Vyrl Haryanvi and Vyrl Punjabi, due diligence and documentation towards investments made by the company in other companies.

Previously, was associated with OML Entertainment Private Limited for 3 years as a Head of Legal advising on various aspects of intellectual property law across Artists/ Artist Management, Brands, Web Show production, SAAS tool (hyp.io) etc.

Before that, was associated with IN10 Media Private Limited and their allied business, worked across legal compliances required for their application Docubay, EPIC On, Epic TV, Juggernaut Productions, Latestly etc and the Pittie Group FMCG business.

Leadership role with a chance to showcase my knowledge and skills. To negotiate good transactions and assist in IP structuring. I can really put my self out there for contract management work and I can manage dispute resolution corporate commercial and the likes. I am also good at team management and I am knowledgeable about employment law.

It has new fresh blood and the opportunity seems exciting and I see it having ability to upscale and the business is related to my line of work.

I think negotiating and closing deals with platforms like google where the back and forth was tremendous and the documentation was rather complicated. Making my previous company OML Entertainment read links that were applicable to them and my task as a legal was to ensure their compliance.
