My name is Chelsey Mae King and I am currently residing in Davao City, Philippines. I graduated with a degree in Accounting. I have 2 years of experience being a financial analyst. Followed by 3 years of being in the Advisory services or doing financial due diligence for mergers & acquisitions multi-entity deals. What are you looking for in a new role?

What I am looking for in a new role is having a culture-centric environment, acquiring new skills and challenges like solving more complex problems to help deepen my understanding of the work that I do. Having a good working environment and culture in a company can help motivate the members of a team to work together in achieving a shared goal.

What has been most challenging experience in a past role?

From the previous company that I've worked for, we only used Microsoft Excel for our analyses based on the data the client provided. There were a few times we received large files that contained the data that exceeded the limit of the number of rows per sheet when combined. So, we had to use a power query. Since, this only happens once in a while and only some of my colleagues know how to perform power query, it became a challenge to my co-lead of a certain project especially with limited time. We asked help from a member who knows how to present using power query, so we were able to solve the problem immediately. After that time, I also want to be able to perform this skill, so I tried doing some research and practice exercises so that I would be able to teach others who are new to it.
