I have a keen interest in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Specialist position. As a recent doctoral graduate in Public Affairs, with over seven years of professional experience spanning academia, public administration, and private industry, I bring a unique combination of research-based insight and practical expertise in fostering inclusive organizational cultures.

During my doctoral studies at the University of Texas at Dallas, my research focused on the intersection of leadership and DEI, culminating in a groundbreaking dissertation analyzing leadership dynamics across 15+ ethnic groups in Nigeria. This work not only developed a novel framework for advancing DEI initiatives but also provided actionable recommendations for implementing equitable practices in diverse organizational settings. My ability to translate complex theories into practical solutions is exemplified by my leadership framework, which has influenced strategies in both public and private sectors.

As a Teaching Assistant at UT Dallas, I independently designed and delivered courses on Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, emphasizing inclusive leadership practices. I also collaborated with stakeholders during my tenure at DeWayles International Limited to improve project staffing plans, standardize communication protocols, and align team capabilities with organizational goals. These experiences honed my skills in cross-cultural communication, stakeholder engagement, and policy development.
