About you

My life have revolved around real estate in one form or another. It is my passion and for the past 20 plus years I have combined experience as a Real Estate Appraiser, Nationwide Review Appraiser, Mortgage Broker and Realtor. I have bought remodeled and sold distressed properties and have built 4 new homes in 3 states. I enjoy designing homes from blueprint to interior decorating. It is who I am and what I do.

What are you looking for in a new role?

In a new role I would like to be able to contribute my skills and experience from the Real Estate Appraiser Industry and learn new things in this position as well. A chance for growth and opportunity would be a plus. I am looking for a remote position with job security and health benefits if possible.

What you are interested in working with us?

With my skills and years experience I think I would be a good asset as a Remote Appraisal Review Specialist with your company. This position is what I am good at and what I like doing. I would like to have the opportunity to work with you and contribute my qualifications. The opportunity of working remotely is important to me as well.

What has been most challenging experience in a past role?

One of the most challenging appraisals I encountered was a very high end home with extensive waterfrontage and a boat house. The property had unique architectural features with industrial quality mechanicals. There was very limited sales data in this location. In order to make sure market value was being reflected. I conducted research on historic property sales spanning into other counties, consulted with local realtors, looked for private sales recorded with the county and used a hybrid sales comparison approach, incorporating adjustment for the properties unique features and characteristics. This helped to accurately support market value while maintaining professional standards.

Good Day, over the last 3 years I have been working as a Nationwide Appraisal Reviewer with Regions Bank and really enjoyed the position, however the company had to lay off over 600 people. I was hired last on the review team and layoffs were done by seniority; hence why I am contacting you.
